DESCRIPTION:WHAT:     STRIKE VOTE for Central and Local Negotiations \nWHEN:      Monday\, September 18th – Doors open @ 4:00pm. Registration and Voting from 4:15pm. Voting closes at 7:00pm \nWHERE:   Shaw Centre\, 55 Colonel By Dr. Ottawa (see map to parking and venue below) \nWHO:         ALL OCETFO/FEEO Contract Teachers are strongly urged to attend \nWHY:          NOW is when this Government and this Board need to hear your voice! \n\nAn important update on the status of CENTRAL and LOCAL Negotiations will be provided by ETFO Provincial and OCETFO/FEEO Local Leaders\nMembers will be able to register and vote for both CENTRAL and LOCAL Strike Votes at the same time\nYou are strongly encouraged to attend to hear the presentations and to ask questions – Central Negotiations update from ETFO Provincial will begin at 5:00pm- Local Negotiations update from OCETFO/FEEO Local to follow\nVoting will be available from 4:15pm through to 7:00pm\nYou are encouraged to stay for the presentations\, but Members may leave as necessary when they have registered/voted any time between 4:15pm – 7:00pm\nTo facilitate your participation: Light refreshments/snacks will be provided\, Parking at the Rideau Centre/Shaw Centre will be validated on-site and paid by the Union\nIf you require childcare\, please submit receipts (up to $50/child) to margo.charles@ocetfo.org for reimbursement\nAll dues-paying OCETFO/FEEO Members are eligible to attend and vote regardless of Leave status if doing so doesn’t fall outside your medical restrictions/limitations\nImmuno-compromised Members are encouraged to use the spillover area on the THIRD FLOOR where social distancing will be easier\nMedical Accommodation requests are assessed on an individual basis.
