Participants will:
– Explore French-specific phonics instruction
– Develop flexible small-group structures
– Engage in both digital and hands-on learning experiences that model how to design and facilitate engaging small-group activities
– Plan, practice, and refine instructional approaches that can be immediately transferred into classroom settings
– Gain access to a wealth of practical, ready-to-use resources designed to support all learners and keep students engaged, motivated, and excited to learn the French language

The course emphasizes equity and inclusion, and Universal Design for Learning, ensuring that instruction supports diverse learners across Ontario classrooms. By the end of the course, educators will leave with ready-to-use lesson plans, grouping tools, schedules, assessment strategies, classroom routines, and engaging activity ideas that can be implemented as early as September.
