CIVIX is excited to announce their upcoming Democracy Bootcamp conference for middle and secondary school educators
Featuring expert insights on Canadian politics and hands-on workshops that will equip you with powerful tools to teach students the skills of active and informed citizenship.

- Resources to teach about cognitive biases and facilitate discussions about political issues (PoliTalks).
- A new experiential learning game designed to enhance students’ civic deliberation and decision-making competencies through a simulated community consultation.
To support your attendance, CIVIX will reimburse schools or school boards for any release time costs (supply teacher expenses).
For those educators living outside of Toronto, complimentary shared accommodation is offered at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel (with private accommodation available at a rate of $125). CIVIX will also reimburse attendees living outside the GTA for travel expenses.
