- On behalf of President Rebecca and your Local Collective Bargaining Committee, I am proud to report that our Members have ratified the Tentative Local Agreement with a resounding 98.6% vote!
- This means the provisions of the new Collective Agreement take effect immediately, except for the Bill 124 and salary provisions that are subject to future arbitration rulings.

- Our 2019-2022 Collective Agreement can be found on the secure section of our website at www.ocetfo.ca – the text of changes arising from our newly-ratified agreement will also be posted there.
- Over the coming weeks, your Local will work with the OCDSB to mesh the details of a finalized CENTRAL agreement with the LOCAL agreement and it will be posted on our website and distributed to Members.
- We thank everyone for their ongoing engagement in this process. Our COLLECTIVE STRENGTH and SOLIDARITY has produced gains that will benefit our Members and Public Education in Ontario going forward!
- Work now turns to the daily task of defending our new Collective Agreement and your working conditions.
