OCETFO/FEEO President Brian LeSage sat down with CBC radio reporter Rebecca Zandbergen yesterday, September 2, to speak on educators starting the school year without contracts, due to stalled negotiations between education unions and the province.
He also spoke with CBC just prior to teachers’ return, speaking to Ottawa’s unique position within Ontario, and how the province’s current bargaining strategy threatens that status.
“I was frankly shocked to see the list of things the government wants to take over centrally,” said LeSage.
