Understand your rights and entitlements

The main responsibility of the Collective Bargaining Committee (CBC) is to negotiate and administer the Collective Agreement between the Ottawa Carleton ETFO/FEEO and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) on your behalf.

Additional responsibilities for the CBC include service on joint Union-Board committees (Elementary Staffing Committee, Benefits Review Committee and the Allocation of Available Space Committee).

The Ottawa-Carleton Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (OCETFO) represents over 3300 Kindergarten to grade 8 teachers working in schools across the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.

The OCETFO Political Action Committee is a resource for OCDSB contract and occasional teachers, providing them with information on locally endorsed campaigns

The Ottawa Carleton ETFO/FEEO Professional Learning Committee is an umbrella term for a variety of subject, grade and standing committees. Members are volunteer teachers who wish to ensure that quality Professional Learning is provided to Ottawa Teachers. The Professional Learning Committee meets throughout the school year. The Committee is chaired by Melcha Wolanski, 2nd Vice-President, Ottawa Carleton ETFO/FEEO.
