
Prepare
Ensure you have a say by confirming, updating, or adding your voter information to Elections Ontario. You will receive a voter information card in the mail with information on when and where to vote.
Advance Voting
- Vote at any advance voting location in your electoral district from 10 AM to 8 PM from February 20 – 22.
- Apply to vote by mail before February 21 at 6 PM. Completed mailed voting kits must be received by 6 PM on February 27 to be counted.
- Vote in person at your local election office from now until 6 PM on February 26. Remember to bring your ID.
- You can use assistive voting technology at your local election office from February 20 to 26 and at designated advance voting locations from February 20 to 22. (You can also contact your local election office to make an appointment to use assistive voting technology on election day. )
Encourage Others
- Carpool, bus, or walk to the polls with other eligible voters in your community or at your school
- Speak directly to colleagues, friends, and family about candidates who prioritize education, and why it’s important
- Display a lawn sign outside your house to remind others of the importance of voting for education-friendly candidate. Lawn signs are available FREE from ETFO.
VOTE!
Since 2018, the provincial government has slashed per student funding by $1,500 and increased class sizes while cutting thousands of teaching positions. Make your voice heard on February 27th – encourage colleagues, parents, and your community to vote for education-friendly candidates.
